Scope and Contents
Naval Papers, Correspondence and photographs, chiefly 1945-1946. The bulk of the Collection deals with his service during World War II in the Pacific Theater, including a Diary, report, notes and typed accounts of his time in the Philippines, including a navigational Survey, maps and news clippings, and a scrapbook with letters sent and photographs.
World War II Battle Evaluation Group records
Administrative records; collected documents, chiefly copies, relating to the Battle of Leyte Gulf, 1944; and miscellaneous materials relating to Battle Evaluation Group Studies produced on battles of Savo Island, Midway, and Coral Sea.
